COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Vintage 9.15.09 This beer is a Belgo-Imperial Stout aged in a new French Oak barrel for over 7 months. The Belgain yeast imparts flavors of dark fruits – plumb, cherry, red apple – which blend nicely with the dark malt’s chocolate notes. The French oak adds a new dimension and is a nice backdrop for all of the other flavors. As it continues to age sherry-like flavors develop and gain more prominence. The rum and oak marry perfectly with the deep fruit and roasted notes from the beer. Grain: floor-malted Maris Otter, Munich malt, flaked barley, oats, roasted barley, chocolate malt, crystal malt, honey malt, Special B, aromatic malt Hops: Willamette, East Kent Golding OG: 21.5 Plato
