4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at 5 Seasons Westside. Dark gold color, with lots of bubbles. The head is big and pillowy, and grew instead of subsiding. The nose is vinous first and foremost, with good notes of lemons, straw, and sugar cane. Very sweet flavor up front, with a sharp tartness following. The body is very heavy, for a saison. The carbonation makes the mouthfeel very lively and crisp at first, and it goes down smoothly and cleanly. This is a complex, well-made, and flavorful beer. Absolutely stellar!

Amber pour, light head. Lots of up front bready malts, some good yeasty notes, woody flavors shine. A bit of vnous notes are present. Nice stuff. I love this brewery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from GAManiac! Thanks Grant! Deep hazy amber pour with soft white head. Nose is, at times, quite bready and yeasty with floral citrus and notes of strawberry, banana, vanilla. Flavor is lightly tart strawberry with banana esters, sweet biscuity bread, and lemon zest that trails to mild oak and merlot. Moderately dry finish with lingering bready yeast. Would have liked the bready qualities dialed back a bit, but other than that quite solid.
