Tulip glass pour at the brewpub in Atlanta, Georgia. Pour is garnet brown with a 1/2 inch off white head. Aroma is roast, caramel malt along with fruit (cherry skin) sweetness. Taste is roast caramel malt, along with cherry banana sweet yeast. Palate is medium heavy, pretty mouth coasting, with a finish of lingering sweet yeast. 36

Butters (3725) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2010
Nice dark clear brown with ring of white head. Nose is fair. Flavors of dark rum soaked fruits, plums, raisin, and even a wierd bubblegum. lots of alcohol heat. I kinda liked where this could have gone, but they just couldnt capitalize on it.

aracauna (3032) - Georgia, USA - MAY 8, 2010
This is a sweet beer. Rich malty caramels and other darkened sugar flavors. There’s not a lot of hop character at all (which doesn’t surprise me given the name), but there is a bit of evidence that this is a stronger beer.

jhumphries69 (1034) - Tyrone, Georgia, USA - APR 21, 2010
Pours mahogany dark brown with thin light tan head. Aroma is rich with maple, chocolate, and sweet malts. Flavor is sweet and malty with caramel and subtle toffee. Malty finish with soft fruit, hints of berry, subtle chocolate, and malty sweetness. Mouthfeel is rich and lightly syrupy, interrupted by carbonation and mild acidity. Overall, a very nice dessert beer, sweet with right level of carbonation.

Cybercat (3195) - Georgia, USA - APR 18, 2010
Pours an opaque chocolaty brown with a thick, fine-bubbled beige head. Rich, malty, fruity aroma has a yeasty and rubbery undertone. Richly malty and yeasty flavor is subtly fruity and sweet with smoky hints. Lively, fizzy texture has a good bite to it. Recommended.

sample on 4/1/10... pours a dark red with a big off white head... fruity and yeast aromas... with some light cherry notes... medium body, soft up front and more fruit on the sides... a touch of tartness on the end... smooth finish with a sweet body... very nice Scotch Ale.
