Nice dark clear brown with ring of white head. Nose is fair. Flavors of dark rum soaked fruits, plums, raisin, and even a wierd bubblegum. lots of alcohol heat. I kinda liked where this could have gone, but they just couldnt capitalize on it.

This is a sweet beer. Rich malty caramels and other darkened sugar flavors. There’s not a lot of hop character at all (which doesn’t surprise me given the name), but there is a bit of evidence that this is a stronger beer.

Pours mahogany dark brown with thin light tan head. Aroma is rich with maple, chocolate, and sweet malts. Flavor is sweet and malty with caramel and subtle toffee. Malty finish with soft fruit, hints of berry, subtle chocolate, and malty sweetness. Mouthfeel is rich and lightly syrupy, interrupted by carbonation and mild acidity. Overall, a very nice dessert beer, sweet with right level of carbonation.

Pours an opaque chocolaty brown with a thick, fine-bubbled beige head. Rich, malty, fruity aroma has a yeasty and rubbery undertone. Richly malty and yeasty flavor is subtly fruity and sweet with smoky hints. Lively, fizzy texture has a good bite to it. Recommended.
