The spring bock has a nice hazy orange-brown color. The aroma is a medium one with caramel, brown sugar, and a light nuttiness. On the palate you get a great roundness with the caramel and nuts holding true. There is also a slight bit of chocolate on the palate. The body is a sweet medium with a nice lingering finish. This beer is smooth enough to hold up to a milder spring climate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ChainGangGuy (3834) - Canton, Georgia, USA - APR 17, 2010
Appearance: Served up a fairly clear, amber-esque body with a thinnish, off-white head.
Smell: Bready maltiness with a light hint of sweetish caramel. There’s a raw graininess to the nose, like sniffing around a just-opened sack of malted barley. Subtle fruitiness, though a swirl of the glass helps perk it up
Taste: Initiates a taste of caramel-coated, toasted, whole grain bread. Follows with a bold pop of berry fruitiness, a bit strawberry-like. Spicy, herbaceous hops with a medium-low level of bitterness. Lingering graininess and bitterness beyond the dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Reasonably smooth mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A pretty solid Springtime bock. It certainly has a notable fruitiness to it.
