We created a new beer inspired by "bourbon" and aged it in 5 different bourbon (or whiskey) barrels. We wanted a beer that would be interesting enough on its own, but that would really show off the character of each of the different bourbons and barrels. And so we did. Itís the beautiful color of bourbon and, like its boozey counterpart, has barley, wheat and even corn in the mash. Itís kind of somewhere between a bourbon and a beer. So we call it the Mash Up!
This entry is for the base beer before it went into the barrels.
