"Dude, you need to brew a beer with pineapple and jalapeno!" The inspiration, of course, came while eating a Hawaiian Fire pizza with those toppings. 5 Stones Craft Brewing Company has brewed this American Golden Ale with massive amounts of fresh-cut pineapple, two-row crystal and dextrine malts, Amarillo hops, honey, and roasted jalapenos. Our hope is that you will enjoy this ale, share with friends, and have a "Aloha-Pina Moment" for yourself. To you, we say "Mahalo!" and thank you!

Golden pour. Smell is pineapple, vegetal and jalapeno spice. Taste is very balanced jalapeno meat, light spice and dry malt. Light and nice carbonation. Very drinkable.

This beer surpassed all my expectations. Aroma is pineapple and a touch of roasted jalapeños, which from the ingredients and description leads you to expect. Flavor follows the nose. Amazing pineapple flavor in which the sweetness is cut by the roasted jalapeño follow by a little pepper heat warming. Amazing beer, recommend highly. This brewery is going places! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ehhh, this is ok. It sure as shit beats drinking a boring Belgian golden/blonde ale. However, I think a beer that says it’s brewed with such and such special stuff, in this case, pineapple and jalapeños should have an abundant flavor of pineapple and jalapeños. This one doesn’t. Sadly, it offers just a hint of each. This isn’t Founders’ Mango Magnifico, that’s for certain. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pineapple aroma and taste with the jalapeno lurking in the background. If this were actually a pizza I’d request extra jalapenos next time. It certainly doesn’t need to be crazy hot but the sweet pineapple would blend nicely with more heat.

Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small frothy white head. The aroma is pineapple and chile. Thin mouthfeel with light burn and pineapple flavor.

Pineapple and jalapeno? But it works. Can’t wait for summer to drink this on the beach. Gold pour and a nice white head. Aroma is sweet pineapple; you have to really try to find the pepper. Balanced flavor. Lots of pineapple up front and lots of jalapenos in the finish. I’ve only had a couple of beers where the chile works. This is one.

Deep gold, with a white head. Nose is pineapple, sweet, fruits, earth, and more pineapple. Nice palate, pineapple fruit cup, sweet, more pineapple, bitter finish.

Golden orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice biscuit malt notes as well as a lot of pineapple. I also get some jalapeño notes in the aroma. The flavor is fairly fruity up front with some sweet pineapple, but then the green jalapeños come through and add a bit of heat with some earthiness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice, interesting beer.

Aroma primarily of pineapple with some pepper notes present. Pours a hazy amber with a thin, rapidly dissipating, white head and no lacing. The taste is lightly sweet and spicy at the same time. Nicely done! The pineapple and jalapeño pepper flavors dance with each other from the begining, through the middle and into the finish. The pepper flavor does, however, doominate in the aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, a well crafted beer presenting a nice juxtaposition of flavors. (Plus this beer has a very cool label. Anything with a skull on it has to be good! Right?)
