3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Belgian Style. Extremely malty. Thin head. Bitter. A little heavy on the carbonation. Simplistic. Drinkable but nothing extraordinary or excellent about this particular brew. Feels like it’s missing something to make it a more balanced.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of Belgian yeast, and honey, with some lovely barnyard notes. Pours a translucent, almost glowing, orange with a large, mostly lasting, foamy ivory head and no lacing. The taste is slightly sweet and yet refreshingly tart. Well crafted balance. Honey sweetness to begin with, followed by grain, with a biscuit/sweetish/dry finish. There is a citrus tartness/sourness that slowly develops in the aftertaste. Very nice! Medium-light body with crisp carbonation. Overall, 5 Stones has a winner! Well, done. Will drink again.
