thirdeye11 (5500) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 14, 2014
(750ml bottle) hazy golden pour, fine white bubbles and nice lacing. Nose is beautiful, lavender, perfumey, citrus zest, honey, ridiculous complexity. Taste is not as good, bitter orange, earth, herbal, weird.

Hazy gold, thin white ring, oily cap. Perfume and peach bitterness, peppery with heavy bitterness. Heavy perfume and dough front, light grain and dominating citric lemon zest mid before lotion heavy finish, well balanced if overly estery.

5000 (6211) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Bottle:   Deep dark dirty orange, thin frothy white head, little lacing,   Soapy floral nose, a bit of artificial fragrant like presence that is becoming common with their wheat or fruit beers.   At least its a nice wheatiness on the tongue.   Its less artificial on the tongue than the nose suggests, which is nice.   Still borders on that urinal cake aspect.   Strong citrusy floral exit, still remains a bit artificial.   Zesty finish.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Decent beer, wished the spices were actually toned down a bit to allow the wheatiness to come forward a bit more.   Thanks Bill!

Orange-yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong orange notes as well as some biscuit malt. The flavor is similar with the juicy orange notes really standing out. I also get some biscuit malt notes as well as a very light amount of tartness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 9/20
Beerenberger (1377) - Fischer, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2013
The nose yeasty with hints of oragne. Pours a cloudy apricot with a thin, mostly diminishing, white head and minimal lacing. The taste is mildly orange with citrus and grain/biscuit flavors vieing for attention in the finish. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. Overal, a smooth, mildly citrus, summer refresher.
