Pours hazy gold with an almost champagne-like head, though not as effervescent. Lots of fresh strawberry aroma and taste with enough vanilla and grain to hint at shortcake. Thankfully not overly sweet and not at all syrupy.

Golden pour. Big white head that fades quickly. Plenty of lacing. Strawberry aroma. Fruity taste with a vanilla note. Dry yet sweet.

Bottle shared by Dan. Pours opaque gold with a bubbly white head and decent lacing. Tastes like cracker malt, light lemon, light cherry, straw, light yeast, banana. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like dry cherry, club soda, cracker malt, straw, and faint citrus.

Bottle. Pours cloudy, bright gold with creamy white head. Aroma is cereal and toasted malts, light berries, faint vanilla, and some floral notes. Flavor is dry malts, crisp berry esters, light sweetness, and a touch of tartness. Light body and medium carbonation.

This one was a huge gusher and the amount of carbonation took away from the overall beer. Hope I get to try it again. When the beer got done overflowing I got an orange pour with a rocky white head. The aroma has some strawberry and wheat notes. The flavor is similar with some strawberry, wheat and honey, as well as a light metallic character. Very high carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Unfortunately the carbonation made the flavors wash away very quickly.

The warning on the label says high pressure and they aren’t kidding! Volumes of puffy speckled foam spewed forth when I opened the bottle. The nose is very berry, with a nod to vanilla. The pour is a cloudy, slightly reddish amber with a large red speckled ivory head and abundant laciing. Very pretty in the glass. The taste is dominately strawberries with notes of vanilla and lightly toasted malts. Light body with HIGH carbonation. Pleasingly dry mouthfeel. Overall, except for fighting the foam, this was a satisfying tasting experience. I would buy this beer again.

(750ml bottle) cloudy gold, fine white bubbles. Vanilla, funky, farmy yeast, herbs, strawberry, gunpowder, neat beer.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2013 There is a strong strawberry smell. The taste is very sweet and light biscuit. Needs something to cut through the cloying aftertaste. Nothing much to say about the palate. Drain pour.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pink-gold-amber; sweartagods, this is a sunrise-colored beer. Nose is strawberries, vanilla, citrus, and fresh bread. Clean on the front of the palate, with a floral berry brightness and warmness, shading into creamy vanilla on the mid-palate. There’s a little sweetness, but it tapers off quickly. Dry on the close. One complaint only -- a little more acid would have been nice. But well done.
