3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 750mL into a Prairie Teku glass -- Appeared is a very pretty blood-orange, with tiny white bubbled head. Smell is faint sticky sweet fruit scent. Hint of rhubarb tartness. Taste is faint tart fruity notes, delicate rhubarb flavor and just a trace of cherry. Malt flavors are more detectable as it warms. Overall I could drink a lot of this, but it wouldn’t do it justice to quaff, too delicate.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of gentle sweet red fruit. A slightly hazy cinnimon-tea hued pour with a very thin and short lived white head that produces no lacing. The pallet is wrapped subtlely in cherries, sugared rhubarb, lightly toasted malts, and suggestions of spice. Medium-light body and soft carbonatiion. Overall, I enjoyed this beer and will buy it again. It has the potential to become a very interesting sour beer…Hint! Hint! 5 Stones.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Dark straw, thick and hazy, small frothy white head, little lacing.   Strong rhubarb aroma, followed by pie cherries.   The wheat aspect is light.   Smells like a damn pie!   Oh boy, love me some pie!   Soft tartness on the tongue, a little rhubarb and even softer cherries.   Wheaty aspect is minor but that is fine given how clean it tastes.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Does feel a bit light at times, but that’s just a lack of big wheatiness.   Soft tart rhubarb fruity finish.   Light beer overall, but decent balance and a bit different.   Enjoyable.   Thanks Bill for the bottle!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Red-amber pour with a white head. The atom has some strong cherry and toffee notes. The flavor is a mix of cherry, rhubarb and toffee. As the beer warms I also start to get some nice light cocoa notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice beer.

I had this at the San Antonio Brew Festival. I waited almost an hour to try it. I went back and forth with this one. At first I totally despised. But then the more I thought about the more I got it. It is an extremely light beer. Fruity notes. Zero head. Tangy wash down. It had a sensibilty of a farmhouse saison. Really mellow. Not bad. I’m not sure If I like this brew or merely the idea of it. Unique taste. And to that I say yes.
