1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours yellow with soapy, quickly decaying head; it’s not going to win a beauty contest anytime soon. I pick up white bread, cereal, and generic hop on the nose; it’s not offensive but very weak. Up front, there is grainy malt on the palate, and there is faint acidity which stretches from mid-palate to finish. The bitterness comes with the finish, slightly delayed and playing it safe. Meh.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Huge, bubbly white head.Clear golden colour. There is a really nice brand philosophy statment on the beer can explaining that the beer is so inexpensive due its sparse design and the company abstaining from advertising. Typical Pilsener aroma. Mild, watery taste and a mildly bitter palate.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0.5 can. Pale gold color, clear and transparent with a white head on top which lasts surprisingly long for a Pilsner. Mostly malty aroma, quite sweet with a substantial touch of hops. Bitter, hoppy taste with some malts in the background; mostly pine, grass and leaves typical for a Pilsner. A bit heavier than light body, but still not medium, texture is slick with a somewhat creamy attitude so to say. Carbonation is below average and the finish is a just a sweeter, maltier version of the taste. Overall the beer has a lot of flaws but it does not suck, and considering its price it is a great purchase.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Very clean golden body with small white head. Smells like carbonated mineral water, well and some pale grains maybe. Very carbonated taste too, bit sweet. Extremely boring but not horribly made. Well, and that’s pretty much all there is to say. (50cl can from Rewe supermarket)
