On tap at 508, where it was called their Belgian dark strong ale. Yeasty aroma. A pretty dry but still fruity Belgian ale, with some fig and cinnamon flavors. Pretty good.

Aroma sweet sugars, caramel, alcohol very well hidden.
Appearance mild haze on amber with red tint. Lighter fine top. Good presence. 4-
Flavor and Palate : Very nice. On sweeter side. Sugar, caramel , barley wine like presence. Refined with well presented warmth of alcohol. Belgian character as hidden. If rated not by style this is very pleasant brew to sip.

Draught at 508 Restaurent, NYC. Cloudy dark red/brown - offwhite head. Rubber. Leather. Red berries. Yeasty. Light milkey sourish. Alcoholic. Fruity. Roasted. Nutty. A bit wierd.

Shady copper to reddish brown color, small white head. Sweet, sugary, full taste. Alcohol and estery aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet alcohol scent.

A reddish copper ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity ester with light solvent notes, cloying. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with herbal hops. On tap at the brewpub, Dec. 28 2011.

Peach, floral, earthy, caramel on the nose. Hazy red/brown, off white head. The flavor is weak, fruity, peppery, acidic, earthy. Strong spicy finish, resin hops, slight metal. Medium to medium/thick in body. Ok, not bad.

Draft. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Spicy yeasty aroma with light fruity notes. The flavor profile is relatively light, with hints of spicy yeast and sweet fruit. Decent.
