Bottle at the brewpub, on January 28, 2012 As ""Porter" at 5% ABV, not sure if my rating belongs here, or if a new beer should be added?

My rating: Black color, big fluffy dark brown head. Salty, roasted, chocolate cent, some char coal. Sweet, alcohol, salty taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty aftertaste.

On tap at the brewpub in New York City. The aroma is a of coffee, malt, chocolate, and soft grains. It is a near black color with a tan head. The taste is coffee above all, some chocolate. The palate is very mellow roasted coffee. This is not my type of beer but well crafted.
