Tap at the brewpub, NYC. Pours mostly clear, red-gold with a fine, white foam head. Very floral, perfumey nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty dough, flowers, perfume. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light to medium sweetness to finish with tons more fragrant flowers, light herbal bitterness. There’s just an odd, intense perfume character here that is a bit off-putting.

On tap at 508. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Lemongrass, soft lemon, sweet musk, light yeast. Medium bodied, hints of juniper and a touch of empty paper. Grain, toast, soft musk and wheat. Soft bitterness with a little more yeast coming through.
