3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 taphandle (1019) - Texas, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Brown with a decent head. Mostly malt aroma and flavor with asome softness going on. I’ve been having a fair amount of altbiers lately and finding it’s not really my favorite style.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dixonian (1190) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2011
On tap - Flying Saucer Ft Worth.
Amber brew with a creamy white head. Aroma of grain, toast, and herbal hops. Flavor is a bit off - lots of bitterness and a strange sour grain note. (512) can do much better than this.

On tap at the Fort Worth Gingerman. Nice brown pour with an off-white head. Little to no aroma. Taste is of the Springfield Tire Fire. What happened to this beer in the last three weeks?
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 thirdeye11 (4091) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2011
(draught at flying saucer fort worth) clear deep amber, thick creamy eggshell white head with great lacing. Nose of caramel, grain, cream, fairly good amount of English hops, smells nice and clean but rather American for the style. Taste of cracker/Melba toast, very bitter, more than I’d like, a bit hairspray-like, and a very dry and bitter finish. Creamy but not enough to offset the bitterness.
