(Draught) Pours a dark brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of cola, raisins, and dates. Flavor of chocolate, raisins, candi sugar, fennel, and dates.

On tap at the Gingerman. Pours with a deep brown to near black body tan head. Aroma of raisins, brown sugar, candi sugar, plums, chocolate and dark fruits. Flavors of mocha, dirt, earth, dark fruits and dried fruits. Some brown sugar and persimmons as well. Medium carbonation. A much better beer than the ratings show. Much better...

On tap, dark pecan brown color with tight tan foam, malty chocolate and whiskey aroma, dark chocolate, roast malt, raisin and whiskey flavors

(draught at Whip In) pours med clear brown, ruby highlights, creamy bubbles. Nose of sweet brown ale style malts, juicy citrus fruits, and honeydew. Taste of semi bitter citrus hops, crackers, wildflower honey, Graham crackers, and sweet cocoa. Nice sweet and roasty finish, good carbonation.

tap at whipin. deep brown with a cream head. citrus hops, florals and smooth esters on the nose. nice on the palate, flavor is hops and florals with a rather off finish.

On Tap @ Flying Saucer : Pours a dark plum .. dark .. wow, way to drinkable, like silk! .. . a very complex yet smooth brew .. tart and refined .. an orchestra of flavours .. . a winner .. . Two pretzels are walking down the street. One is assaulted.

Pours a murky tea brown with an aroma of copper, coppery malt, copper, and copper. Flavor is sweet copper and melted dirty pennies. Watery mouthfeel. Better used as wiring or piping.

Tap at Gman FW. Glad to see this made it up north. Dark dark brown pour to a ruby color. Tan silky head. Aroma is roasted malts, sweet candied brown sugar and light fruit notes. Dark fruit to be exact. Flavor is a two parter. Earty hops are tasted as well as a roasted malt character. Like two beers in one fighting for dominance. Turned out pretty good though.

On tap at the Whip-In during a recent trip to Austin. The beer pours medium brown with a light tan head. The aroma is sweet malt with some dark fruit. The flavor is caramel malt, roasted malt, dark fruit, citrus hops and some light smoke. Some alcohol is also present. Medium mouthfeel and medium-high carbonation.

Tap the Gingerman. The look is brownish red in color with a light tan head. The smell is malts, burnt, and chocolate. The taste is watery, malts, burnt, malts, and eh.
