BMan1113VR (2755), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Oct 30, 2009 Growler thanks to thirdeye11. Pours with a copper body and a large tan head. Aroma is quite hoppy with some pine needles, mango, apricot and earth. Taste is really nice with caramel and a nice hoppy, pine like punch. Light bubbles. Really a solid IPA! Quite drinkable! ansermadide (496), Kyle, Texas, USA Oct 25, 2009 From draft at the Austin Flying Saucer on October 24, 2009. (512) IPA has a slightly cloudy amber color, an almost smoky moderate hop aroma, and a thin, silky, soapy head. With clean hop flavor with hints of light pit fruit, this beer is extremely pleasant, great as an every day drink. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2009 Had on tap at a random bar with Cavie while visiting Texas. The beer had a nice flowery aroma, but I get diacetyl. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA May 23, 2009 had at lovejoys before jetting .. . pours a dark golden color ...very nice bracing hop kick on the first few sips...uh, nice review bgthang?.... sweetness is spot on, and this beer coats the mouth wonderfully ... very tasty stuff, from honey to pine to even pineapple .. . full and refreshing at the same time while still pretty big and complex.. . BgThang (118), Texas, USA May 22, 2009 When I first tried this brew I was expecting hops, this was because in austin there are a lot of hop heads. This one to me is more of an east coast or british style ipa. The hops seem to be different than your normal west coast 4 c hops. Overall a nice representation of what Ipa can be.
