Tap at Flying Saucer, Houston.
Pours a thick amber with a peachy raisin, banana, and clove nose. Flavor is Pilsnery banana clove. Tingly mouthfeel but not much to brag about. Not bad; the sum of its parts saves it.

Nice to smell, nice to look at, but not much else going on here. The alcohol is well hidden, but no spice.

Dark brown pour. Appreciable tan head corriamder and clove aroma. Sweet, tart, yeasty flavor. Mildly refreshing. Hides the 8% very well. Tart finish.

Cloudy amber beer, thin head, weak aroma with hints of ginger and spicy hops. Texture is like light syrup. Flavor is sweet and has an apple aftertaste. There is a medium stength bite and a burn on the backend.

On tap at the Whip In in Austin. Pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma was caramel with some dark fruit and some spices. You also get some Belgian yeast characteristics. The flavor is more of the same with dark fruits like raisins being prevalent. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. A nice one-off from 512. I look forward to others in the future.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a cloudy amber with a small creamy white head that leaces good sticky lacing. The aroma is a dark fruity malt with clove and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a dry malt with raisin and clove with a nice dry finish. Hides the alcohol well making it very easy to drink. A very good belgian strong ale from (512).

(Growler thanks to fratto) Pours clear brown with no head but some oily bubbles. Nose of dark fruit and banana. Taste is ripened banana, coriander and nicely sweet. Some alcohol on the finish but overall this is great.
