BgThang (118), Texas, USA May 22, 2009 Another fine brew by brewer Kevin. This pale ale is mild in hops and shows more character than your overly hopped pale ales. The malty balanced comes in quite nice. Overal a refreshing beer that will bode nice with the texas summers
hopeye101 (39), Draughthouse, Texas, USA Jan 13, 2009 Very nice pale ale. Good spicy hop aroma. Very carmelly palate for an APA.
Extremely drinkable. ansermadide (496), Kyle, Texas, USA Dec 27, 2008 Pint at Opal Divines on December 27, 2008. Golden clear color, steady carbonation. Frothy white head. Amazing lacing, leaving a thick, solid web down the entire glass. A+! Floral, spicy aroma. Flavor is of caramel and hops. Different. Corn, maybe? Bitterness is very distinctive. May be something west coastish. Definitely mellow, but hoppy and clean. Good job, 512. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 25, 2008 Tap at Draught House, Austin, TX. Pours a deep cheddar orange with nice lacing around the glass and an aroma of subtle sweet floral grass. Taste is bitter malt with an earthy finish. Average mouthfeel. Not too shabby; definite English influence in the bitterness. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2008 8-1-08 tap
Semi foggy unfiltered amber orange in color with a decent white frothy head and some good lacing.. Smell is hoppy and clean citris - not super bold but it is clean and refreshing. Flavor is nice and mellow hops and again - quite refreshing. Medium carbonation. Nice hop finish. oreogobbler (217), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2008 Draught. Pours a cloudy yet almost transparent deep amber with a decent bubbly white head.
Musky wheat aroma: grassy with an essence of corn and a splash of hops.
Full buttery hop flavor upfront, followed by a nice balance of bitterness that flows into a creamy smooth acidic finish.
Palate is full and buttery. Very tasty pale. slimchill (773), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 19, 2008 Updated: Oct 21, 2008Draught. Pours cloudy, gold-amber with a thin but substantial white head. Aroma is simple, more grassy than hoppy. Clean uncomplex flavor, lots of grain presence emphasized by hop bitterness. More of an English-styled pale than an American, led by hop muskiness and grain complexity. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Aug 8, 2008 Pours light copper small head. aroma of bland sweet malt. Bitter and thick flavor. Full body and dry mouthfeel. Strong, bitter dry-puckering aftertaste.
