Cask at Bottle Shop. Deep brown pour with very little head. Smells great - roasted malt, cocoa, smooth cherry. Flavors melded together nicely - vanilla, roast, chocolate, dark fruit.

Cask @ Hay Merchant. Not the best appetizer before a burger but thatís my own damn fault. Pecans and cocoa with just the right amount of cherry tartness to offset the sweetness. Might need another for dessert.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2013 Draught > Gingerman(a few months back). I waited to review this b/c I didnít know what Cerise was. Iíve since learned itís a type of cherry. Whatever the case, this was fíing delicious. TONS of chocolate flavor and a tad bit of tart cherries too. Iíd love to try it again or the other one w/ blueberries.

On tap poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of cocoa, cherries vanilla, light pecan and light roastiness. Palae was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of milk chocolate, vanilla, light cherry, light pecan and light roastyiness with a smooth lingering milk chocolate finish.

Quite an interesting take on the pecan porter .. . light chocolate pecans and berry mostly .. thin mouth feel, typical cask .. . pretty nice twist but the original is still better .. . . haunted french pancakes give me the crepes.

Cask at Hay Merchant. Pours a dark brown with large creamy beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is roast and cherry. Medium mouthfeel with a light roast flavor and cocoa with light dry finish. A decent one off of the pecan porter.

On cask. Black with a creamy off white head. Chocolate cherry and roasted grain aroma and taste with the pecan showing through on the back end.
