Firkin... This beer rocks!Ö Very dark brown with a tiny, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. Iím picking up loads of chocolate and deeply roasted barley, but there are no blueberries in the aroma. Medium-bodied and creamy with prickly carbonation. The flavor is where the blueberries shine - a boatload of blueberries flanked by big-time chocolate. Leans sweet, but not by much. Quite roasty. Finishes a little watery and thin, but overall this beer is world class!

Cask snifter glass at Homefield- served a solid black color with an extremely light tan head the size of one finger, aroma of chocolate, some roasted malt, and a very faint note of blueberries. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt gets overpowered by the nibs (fucking duh!), middle holds up fine, finish is sort of chalky with an ever faint note of blueberries. Whatever dude...

Cask at The Hay Merchant. Pours a black with medium creamy beige head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is roast and cocoa. Thin mouthfeel with a rich malt flavor with a strong cocoa flavor and very light on the blueberry. Lingering dry finish, easy to drink a very good one off of the pecan porter.
