Clear and medium gold with orange shadows; nice lace patterns. Medium carbonation; had a nice creaminess / rich malt base to it -- cookie, caramel. Hop flavors were nice: grapefruit and a little pine. Hop aromas (flowers, pine) were nice as well, though not as pronounced. Quite a bit of bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Had a little sourness and a slight amount of acidity, which kind of gave it a sharp edge, but it wasn’t too bad. Overall, I enjoyed the beer.

On tap @ 5280 [now the Mill] poured a clear copper with a minimal ivory head. Aromas of earthy hops, light carmel and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, a hint of citrus and light spice with a lingering lightly bitter finish.
