Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest of New Hampshire’s 944 lakes, boasting 288 miles of shoreline. A clean amber ale with a subtle but noticeable hop character. Best if poured slowly into a glass, leaving the natural yeast sediment. Cheers!

Pours a slightly hazy deep amber/brown color with a thick off white head. Aroma is of malts, caramel, soap, yeast, and some brown sugar. Lighter palate. Flavors include malts, dark caramel, a little dark fruit, figs, and a little roastyness. Leaves a slightly fruity malted finish. Ehh. Nothing special.

Draft sample @ the brewery. Darker amber color with a small, minimal head/ Aroma is caramel, honey, light citrus and mild toasted grain. Taste is caramel, roasted malts, mild citrus, pine and toffee in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with moderate carbonation and a long, citrus hop finish. Nicely balanced and well crafted. Easy drinking for sure.

Dark amber red pour with a brownish head. Aroma is of sweet malts, dark fruit... Dates, raisons? Taste is similar... Sticky sweet palette. Decent, just too sweet for my tastes.

22oz bottle. Pours a clear reddish brown with almost no head. Very low carbonation. Malty aroma. Overly sweet caramel and dark fruit flavors that I can’t seem to get past. Not really doing it for me.

22 oz bottle, dated 8/4/13, so very fresh. Pours a muddied red brown with absolutely no head. Sweet, caramel malt aroma with some pine like scent too. Flavor is quite sweet. Dominated by the caramel malt. The hop character shows just enough to be interesting. Full bodied, but zero carbonation. Almost dead flat. Nice tasting beer, but the lack of carbonation was a bit of a distraction.

Mildly sweet grains and dry, citrusy hops in the aroma. Big malty taste right up front. A bit of richness to it, but has a manageable body. A bit of alcohol and yeasty spiciness to it followed by a pleasantly bitter finish. A well-crafted amber.

22 oz bomber (bottled on 3/2/13) poured into a perfect pint glass. Hazy light copper liquid with a thick off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, bready yeast, faint earthy hops in the background. Earthy flavor, some sweet malt, more toffee or caramel. decent hop finish. Medium light mouthfeel. Super fresh and at 6% abv, a nice local session beer!

Pours a mostly clear deep amber brown color with a decent sized fluffy off white head that persists for quite a while. The aroma is a nice mix of caramel, toffee, sweet and brown sugars with a light but present aroma of citrus and light earth and pine. The flavor is malty with a fruity edge to it and a light bit of hop presence. Sweet caramel and sugary malts with quite a bit of toffee flavor to round things out. There’s a firm earthy hop presence to attempt to counter the sweetness, but this one leans more towards the malty side. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet light syrupy mouthfeel. This is a nice beer, it’s not horribly complex, but it’s certainly a well made flavorful brew. I can’t wait to try some more offerings from this newcomer.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. It pours a medium amber with a frothy, long lasting off-white head and moderate clarity. The aroma is mellow and sweet with pale malts and caramel. Hop aroma is low. The body is medium and smooth. The taste begins like the aroma with a pleasant but subtle sweetness followed by a slightly more noted hop note. Low to medium bitterness that does not linger long. It fits into the style quite well.
