Slightly hazed orange-amber pour with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of biscuit malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, bready malt and dried fruits. The finish is caramel malt up front with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Some malt, citrus, pine, earthy aromas, pours a clear orange/red color with an off white head with good carbonation. Has a nice bitterness with caramel, toffee, marmalade, resin. A little sweet in the middle. Pretty tasty feels like a northwest beer. Defiantly not like the style coming out of California.

Ballzdeep pours a deep orange with a tall tan cap. It gives off the aroma of caramel. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel and a smooth finish. Surprised others have rated this so low. It is a very well crafted beer. Kudos to 7 Seas.

I was expecting a NW hop explosion from this, instead, I got a serious introduction to the malt backbone. Not sorry I bought this, but not quite what I expected. In any case, if you like malt, this oneís for you.

Can. Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a 1 finger head that fades slowly and leaves nice lacing. Aromas are slightly stale pine/citrus hops mixed with biscuity malt. Taste is piney and citrusy up front and a strong bitterness takes over through the finish. Good biscuit malt backbone. Medium to thick body, a little oily in the mouthfeel. Overall, if the hops here tasted and smelled fresher, this would be really good. I donít think the can is old but I have no idea since there is no date on it.

Deep red. Sweet and thick. Surprisingly stale, malty aroma. Quite underwhelmed by this one.

Going ballz deep in this IIPA that should just be labeled a barley wine. Dark ruby pour with a big off white head. Sticky sweet red sucker, heavy handed piney hops, and bit of orange citrus, some caramel, and a bit of nuts. Thick, chewy mouthfeel, plenty of carbonation, bitter. Bump this up a percent or two and call it a barley wine and people would be happier with this beer I bet.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured a cloudy amber color with a small beige head. The aroma was sweet, malty and semi candy-like. The taste was a lasting malt with resinous and piney hops that almost seem to be an afterthought. Tasty.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Clear mid brown. This is good. Bitterness, citrus, malts all collide nicely.
