COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Depth Finder IRA represents a newly inspired NW style ale that combines the hop profile of an IPA, with the malt character of a lusciously, smooth Amber ale. Deep russet in color and brewed with a cacophony of specialty malts, including a pinch of chocolate malt, the Depth Finder is belligerently hopped with Columbus, Palisade and Simcoe varieties achieving a superb floral, piney nose with a resinous, bitter finish.

Serving: from tap at 7 Seas Brewing. Aroma: moderately piney hoppy. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, red body. Taste: moderately bitter initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light bodied with dry texture and lively carbonation. Overall: very good.

Draft at EBP. Clear dark amber with a sudsy tan head that sticks around for a bit. Mild caramel and grapefruit nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel and grapefruit mid palate with a moderate dry grapefruit finish.

Reddish Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Light in alcohol with a great IPA flavor. Love the hops and malt mix this was a tasty beer. Great piney nose.

Caramel, toast, soft fruitiness, and a good dose of citrus and dank on the nose. Auburn pour, thin head. Flavors of medium caramel and toast, soft fruity sweetness, medium citrus hops, some dank and floral notes show up as well. Nice grapefruit candy notes. Good balance and drinkability.

Tap @ WB. Clear red-brown pour with a persistent beige head leaving heavy lace. Nose is nicely balanced, with pine, citrus and caramel malt notes. There is also a subtle rotten veg aroma which derracts. Medium light body - too light - and medium, fine carbonation. Caramel, spruce, grapefruit zest and dark toast. Finish is quite bitter, with more citrus zest and dandelion. Wanted to like this, but it’s not what it could be. Will try it in GH and modify rating as needed.
