Loud, sassy, and relentless, the Rude Parrot has an insatiable appetite for hops! Brewed with Vienna, light Crystal, and a touch of Honey malt, this golden hued IPA is aggressively hopped with Simcoe and Citra hops. A big juicy, tropical fruit hop nose yields way to an off dry, pleasantly bitter finish. Drink up while you can, the Rude Parrot is flying circles around you!

Fresh 16oz can. Pours a darker copper gold with faint haze. Very balanced nose, piney slightly fruity and catty hops, present but not cloying malt sweetness. Light mouthfeel, given the appearance. The hop taste is a touch soapy that wasnít really detectable on the nose, they arenít also overly bitter. Just really balanced and getting close to sessionable. Love that they are canning this, but $12 4 packs seem a bit steep. Good for them if they are getting that, but I will stick with Fremont IPA as my go to for under $10 for a six pack.

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head on there. Nose is nicely hoppy, with floral and citrus elements to it. Taste is clean, light, and fresh, and moderately bitter. Pretty easy to drink. I enjoyed it.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a mason jar style glass on 12.08.14. A: Lots of caramel. Thereís no date on the can, so maybe the hops are long gone. A: 1 finger head. See through reddish amber body. T: Honey dominates. Flower, tropical fruit, and pine are subtle. P: Itís plenty bubbly. O: Thereís no sediment in the glass indicating an old beer (I guess unless a beer is unfiltered), but the flavors seem too soft. Itís not what I was expecting for 75 IBU.

Amber color, clean. Resiny hops aroma, some caramel flavor, lean mouthfeel, strong ending bitterness, with light hop resins and light fruitiness. Pleasant.

It has a mild bitterness in the finish. Even milder on the front. Not malty. I look for a citrus or floral hop flavor. It's bot here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Dry, citric IPA with a grape-like and salty hoppiness. Sweet as well with some biscuits in the background,

Draft at Chuckís - from notes. Aroma: Bread, pine, and toast. Taste: Lightly sweet, dry, moderate-to-big bitterness in the finish. Loads of pine. Whereas the aroma made me wonder if this was really an IPA (maybe an English IPA), the taste is where it really asserts itself. Medium body, a shade thin with oily texture. Overall: this was my wifeís favorite of the 4 IPAs. Middle of the pack for me, but certainly nice enough.

Pour is a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is an ok hop followed by some sweet malt. Flavor is a light dank hop with some of the sweet sticky malt making an appearance. Finish is again a light bitterness with some malt presence. Itís ok, a bit heavy in the malt dept. but hops are here just not aggressively so.
