COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden lager with a sweetish, herbal twist: The aroma of whole hemp leaves and the spicy bitterness resemble fresh-cut conifers and wild flowers. The hemp beer has a full, slightly sweetish body and an aftertaste that gives a long lingering unique impression of hemp. (Do not expect any other effects from this beer than a pleasant taste and a moderate alcohol content of less than five percent ABV).

(Old BA rate - tap) Frothy white two fingers worth of foam. Light, hazy yellow-orange gold color. Really good lacing, which I would expect. Bit flowery, didn’t pick up any resiny aromas that I would have been looking for. Some cooked vegetables and sweetish maltiness. A touch flowery as with the aroma, but really not a whole lot to report on here. Nothing offensive, but nothing really stands either. Thin MF, muted carbonation, and passes over the palate without much notice. Just OK. Nothing inspiring here

Golden yellow color with a small white, lacing head. Hemp aroma is clearly there, not too much, not too subtle, just right. Honey, light hops, a hint of spices make this beer true to itself. It’s all about the hemp, and it delivers. High carbonation, and of course a hempy aftertaste. No alcohol taste. I really enjoyed this one, nicely done!

Thanks to PilsnerPeter for sharing. Pale golden pour with a very thick, sticky white head. The nose is quite clean and fresh. A bit of soft herbal spiciness and a touch of nutty character as well. The flavour is nutty and sweet on the finish. As it warms up there is a touch of soft peppery spice on the back of the palate, but it’s pretty subtle.

Tried this vom fass at 7Stern. Deep blond colour with a small light head. A slight malt and herbal hop aroma. Some fruitiness in the flavour. Not much hop characteristics but definitely the hemp comes through. Lacks bitterness. Not bad.

Bottle: Thanks Tanja. Hazy deep orange pour with an off white head. Very clean and wafery aroma- some nutty presence as well with mild grassy notes, but no hemp. Nice fluffy light feel. Clean and quite nutty with a biscuity/dry pale malt presence. Not really spicy or hempy, but dry enough to be a nice session.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is lightly malty. It has a good mouthfeel, smooth and round, with some malt and grassy flavor (the hemp), and residual sweetness. Correct bitterness. Balanced and pleasant, even if the hemp in the end is a strange feeling in a beer.

On tap at the brewpub: Murky pale yellow colour with a fluffy head. The aroma isn’t much different than a regular Helles: grassy and flowery (hops?) and some lager yeast character. The flavour is mostly herbal and earthy, but with an authentic cannabis taste - like picking leaves from a hemp plant. The beer actually taste darker than it is, with a toasted, dry maltiness and a pretty bitter finish. Nice!

Draught at brew pub. Small white head, and yellow color. Odd aroma. Weird finish. Not impressive.

On draught at the brewpub. The beer is a mostly clear yellow-orange color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, toffee and spices. Light body with flavors of sweet caramel malt and lightly spiced hops. Honey is present in the flavor as well. The finish is sweet and spicy with a honey aftertaste. Decent overall.
