Near black with firm, off-white head. Sweet and creamy with notes of toffee. Grassy finish with sme bitterness. Typically Czechish. joergen (6814), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 25, 2007 Draught at the brewpub.
Clear orange brown coloured with an off white head.
Malty aroma with notes of grain and caramel.
Swet flavour dominated by caramel with notes of malts and hops.
Hoppy finish. MiP (6276), Flensburg, Germany Nov 27, 2008 Draught, 4.5% at the brewpub. Dark brown colour, seems hazy. Stable light brown head. The flavour is very roasted with a little cream and vinousness. Gets faintly sourish in the finish. Comments: A plumy dunkel whose toastiness borders roast and feels drier than most. Almost ale-like, more complex, nutty and hoppy than most.
TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Jul 27, 2007 Draught@brewpub, Vienna
Dark nut brown color, small steady off-white head, lace. Diacetyl and burnt aromas in the nose. Caramelly, chocolaty flavor. Sweetish, not much hops found. Short aftertaste.
