Rocky, creamy and off-white head. Deep dark, near to black. Flavor is only light sweet, malty and fruity. Aftertaste is well hopped. pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Jul 21, 2008 On draught at the brewpub: Deep amber coloured, lacing and persistent beige head; solid sweet-malty and toaste-malty nose with a distinctive hoppiness in the background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; solid sweet-malty finish wioth a distinctive hoppy "tail". Mild roasted coffee and caramel taste with tiny chocolate notes and rather watery palate. Also notes of vanilla and caramel. Dry hoppy finish. Jukkabro (2463), Tampere, Finland Aug 24, 2007 Dark brown colored with red hints. Medium sized lasting light brown head. Nice roasted aroma with coffee, even some soft creamy stoutish tones here. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more stoutish with roasted malts, chocolate, creamy palate and vanilla. Vanilla specially lasts in aftertaste with roastiness and mildly bitter hops. I like this. rickgordon (3077), Göteborg, Sweden Jan 6, 2007 [On draught at the brewpub]
Dark brown colour with fluffy-creamy head. Coca-Cola backbone in flavour with notes od chocolate and caramel. Good malt profile with a good amount of low alpha hops it seems. Big on Co2. Not as bitterish dry as many other 7-Stern beers. Still notable dryness and bitterness that feels long after. Light butterscotchy.
