UPDATED: DEC 19, 2004 On tap at 7SternBrau, Wien (with Geiserich). Red Amber beer with lasting Head. This is their Christmas beer and it is a bit of a warmer, crisp rounded dry malts and heavy hopping, some spiciness with a peppery and fruity finish. My beer of Austria so far, beautifully brewed, a very decent beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 11, 2013
500ml bottle (Snow@ChrisO)
A bit stodgy. Full smoothg and soft palate, a bit yeast (I got the final pour from the bottle). Grains are certainly pleasant though, and it’s not saying 6%, that’s well hidden. Not quite bocky enough for me.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JorisPPattyn (7305) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 22, 2007
Stupendously huge, very fine & dense yellow head; hazy yellow-amber beer. Almonds, waffles with syrup, vanilla, quite sweet smelling, spicy bread. BItterish-lined cake, orange, orange peel. Sweet impression, but overwhelmed by the bitterish(even hoppy)-fruity flavours. This is great and perfect balance. Nutmeg & cinnamon retronasal. Well bodied, slick, but without any viscosity. Excellent Bock! Thank you very much for following my instructions, Dean!! ;^}

Light sweet flavor with more tangy fruits, faint hay. Light bodied with high carbonation. Tangy finish, some berries, sharp bread. Not in top form - as with most beers from this brewery when bottled.
