3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
19/07 On tap at the brewpub as Weener Helles :) It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Crisp lemon hop and hay malty aroma. Weak, a bit sweet bready flavor spiced up with nice herbal hops. Not robust in body, rather light and refreshing with long, slightly bitter finish. Decent helles, but could have been better.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. A little hazy, golden appearance with a white head and nice lacing. Grainy, rich straw, fairly bitter floral hoppy aroma. Rich pale malty, a bit soapy/floral hoppy, straw flavor.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle. 4.7%. From Cuso. Danke schön!
Hazy orangey golden colour with tiny white head.
Grain, malt, yeast, citrus and mild sourness in aroma.
Flavour is very grainy malty with some notes of honey, grassy hops and yeast. Some homebrew touch in this one. Very soft carbonation. Maybe this bottle wasn't the best example of their quality. Maybe it was?

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From keg @7 Stern Bräu, Wien. Clear pale gold. Tall foamy white head. Hay and lemony fruitiness to the nose. Semi-sweet bready malt flavor. Nice balancíng bitterness. Medium full. Soft, almost creamy in the mouth. Bready/grainy, mild bitter ending. A balanced Helles with good drinkability.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewpub, small stable creamy head, hazy yellow colour, aroma of vanila and honey with some herbal hints, sweetish malty flavour with a dominant and mellow bitterness, medium bodied and not too light, pleasant light but long bittersweetish aftertaste. Very nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
At 7sternBräu, tap. Golden/pale yellow colour, quickly disapearing head. Malts, yeast and bread are dominant in the aroma, with a hay-like base. Bitterness comes in the aftertaste. Quite good brew, but nothing special.
