COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style Oatmeal Stout. The Aviator is medium to full bodied, with a hint of roasted coffee and chocolate, and a rich malty taste. It is complimented with Fuggles and US East Golding hops. Big, bold and delicious.

Dark brown. Strong coffee taste. Very roasted. No head. Pretty lame stout. Not memorable.

Just about black colored beer. Thin white ring head. Roasted malt aroma. Coffee and roasted nalt flavor. Nice bitter end. Kinda thin and sharp. Fi.d the oatmeal. Its there, just find it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates slowly and completely. Aroma has dry roasted malts and a bit of creamy dark grains. Flavor has dark grains with a bit of bitter coffee and creamy chocolate.

Growler split, served in a DFH IPA glass A - Black body with very little head. S - Sweet creamy coffee, roasted chocolate malts, leafy green hops, sweet alcohol comes through. T - Roasty upfront with dark chocolate and coffee, some bitterness mixed in with a tangy character on the back end. Finished roasted and slightly bitter. M - Medium body, semi-syrupy, not as creamy as I wanted it be. An average all around oatmeal stout. Nice aroma but the mouthfeel fell a little short. I would drink this again. Tap @ 75th Street. Pours a black appearance with a creamy dark brown head. Anise, a touch fruity, chocolate, light vanilla aroma. Somewhat bitter, light coffee, roasty malty, earthy, oaty flavor. Ok.

Draft at the brewpub. Black pour with thin tan head. Aroma and flavor were some roasted malt, light, rather acrid chocolate, mild bitterness and sweetness. Mouthfeel on the thin side and not as smooth as I’d expect for an oatmeal stout.

Tap at brewpub. Perfectly black body with a thin khaki head. Rich roasted coffe nose with milk chocolate. The taste is milk chocolate with some light roast. There is some bread crust. Decebt middle of the road stout.

Tap at brewpub.
Pours a deep brown with an aroma of chocolate, plumb, and ashtray. Flavor is tobacco, ashtray, and light chocolate. Watery mouthfeel. Not bad.
