Indra (1873), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA May 29, 2005 Served in a Scottish "thistle" style glass. Sweet, estery aroma, some honeyed brown sugar and banana with lighter notes of clove, flowers, orange peel and doughy yeast. Lightly hazy medium-dark orange color, with a fine, slight head. Flavor profile is similarly sweet and fruity throughout with big, sugary malts and abundant yeast esters, leading to a long, spicy, faintly warming finish. Body is medium-full, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Overall, very sweet with plenty of yeast character and apparently aged on a variety of very small amounts of spices including coriander, orange peel and black pepper.
