Gregis (904), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Aug 17, 2007 Pours a hazy yellow/straw with a frothy white head. The nose is quite muted with just the faintest wheat note and not much more. Light and thin, soft and clean with a slightly dry finish. The flavor is about as neutral as a beer can be, with faint wheat and water fronting the show. This beer is the liquid equivalent of plain rice cakes; a beer for non-beer drinkers. Completely inoffensive and just as exciting.
BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jun 4, 2008 Overall this is pretty one dimensional and boring. Some light cereal graininess, with a small does of lemon acidity. I mean its neutral to the point of almost having no flavor at all. Why even bother making beer, if this is the kind of crap you are going to turn out. Dogbrick (2214), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 9, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a hazy yellow-amber color with a medium thin and foamy ivory white head that diminishes slowly. Wheat and bready malt in the nose. Light, smooth body with mild wheat and malt flavors with a bit of floral hops. The finish is short and wheaty with touches of sweet fruit in the aftertaste. Overall this is a by-the-numbers affair. vyvvy (1689), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Apr 19, 2007 Pours lightly hazy yellow with a white head. Very light aroma with some wheat sweetness. Medium / light body that is very smooth and lush for the style with some semi-sharp carbonation. The tastes are subdued, but has more dryness than most wheats with light spices and a touch of sweetness. The finish has more of a spicy hop presence than most wheats. Nice job. theisti (1034), Leawood, Kansas, USA Dec 27, 2006 Tap, at brewpub, part of six pack sampler. I am not a huge wheat guy to begin with, but this one went down real rough. I thought it tasted like dish water, dirty dish water.
