COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew is a double IPA brewed in style with 5 different hops: Summit, Simco, Centennial, Cascade & Palisade. You'll dig it's copper color, full-body & big hop aroma & finish. Our Brewer Cris Morgan is adamant that Quentin Terantino would be proud. At 8% abv and 100 IBU, this brew is to die for. Cheers!

Served in a wide flute type glass. Poured a deep copper with a big bubbled white head that quickly dissipated. Big hop aroma, lots of citrus and resiny pine. Hops dominate the flavor as well, but the bitterness is not overpowering. Solid malt base and rich mouthfeel. Alcohol is not readily apparent, making for a very drinkable beer. Nice lacing on the glass.

Tap @ 75th, pours a hazy orange/amber with a thick tan head, good lacing. Aroma is a facefull of grapefruit, along with some citrus and pine. Flavor also leads and dominates with grapefruit, but blends with more citrus, pine and resin as it warms; a bit of caramelly malts to temper things, but the hops are pretty much left to clearly dominate. A nice effort from 75th, and an enjoyable IIPA.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2008 Served a bit cold in a large stem glass. Aroma is full of pungent hops, fresh, resinous and fruity, with strong notes of fresh citrus, orange, pine and herbal spice, some faint hints of quality grass detected here as well. Mostly cloudy medium amber color with a lasting, fine head leaving sheets of lace behind. Flavor is very heavily hopped, seeming to drip with oily, fruity, bitter hop resins, citric and fresh, with lighter notes of pine and earth, also featuring a very sweet, toasty and generous malt backbone, bringing notes of honey and caramel. Smoothly full, oily, creamy mouthfeel. Bitterness, overall, is substantial, but still backs a back seat to the strength of the hop flavors. Big-bodied and tasty IIPA with tints of alcohol lurking around the edges. Pretty impressive for this brewer.

Pours a deep, reddish copper with creamy off-white head that laces nicely. The nose is all hops, solid and citric (grapefruit & blood orange). Medium-bodied and slick with a solid bitter finish that strips your tongue of moisture and makes you salivate simultaneously. That’s pretty smart, as the result is a desire to take another drink. The flavor follows the nose with just enough malt backing to keep the hops from raping your tongue. Overall, the result is pretty nice. Thinning a bit as it warms, this is a very quaffable IIPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Pour a hazy copper orange with a sticky dense off white head. Robust aroma of pine and citrus peel, with some bready malt character. Flavor is sort of the same. An aggressive, but not sharp hop flavor cut by just a bit of sweetness. Full body. Average carbonation. Bitter, but balanced finish. Easily one of the best from this place.
