(Draught) Pours a hazy golden amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma of dried apricots, caramel, toffee, and vanilla. Flavor of hops (earthy, herbal, grassy, orange), tea leaves, and caramel malt with a bitter finish.

Tasted at GABF 2008. Hazy gold pour. Bourbon oak nose with some vanilla. Flavor is wood, vanilla, bourbon with some citrus near the finish.

GABF 2008. Hazy brassy golden. Heavy vanilla oak bourbon aroma. Woody vanilla buttery bourbon flavour up front, fruity citrus oil hopped-up finish. Very sweet. I think a lot of the bourbon character leeched out of the barrels and into this beer. I’m not sure how well this marriage works for me. Parksy says ’’it’s like Innis & Gunn on steroids!’’.
