Deep amber color with significant haze. Frothy, dense off-white head. Light, bitter-sweet malty aroma. Medium malty, nutty flavor. Very well balanced. Good red ale and I usually donít like these but this one finishes with a nice little dose of hops. The cascade is very nice in this beer. it covers the glass completely 100% in a white blanket.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has sweet grains and bread with a touch of grassiness. Flavor has a good amount of sweet grains and bread with a touch of grass.

Tap. Pours a clear dark reddish color. Light carb. Dry flavor, bitter and grainy with a hint of sweetness. Aroma has some grainy notes as well. Very bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at brewpub. Poured amber brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor were sweet caramel malt, lightly toasted, some floral hops. Nice Irish Red.

Tap at brewpub. Deep copper red body. A thin light khaki head. A malty caramel apple nose is up front. There is also some nice crusty bread. This tastes sweet with lots of wood. There is also some bread crust and peanuts. Decent.

Nice dark red brown. Caramellized. Rather boring and light body. Somewhat bitter.

On tap at the brewery. Pours an amber color with white head. Nutty, bitter, slightly hoppy, some oakiness in the flavor. Irish ales arenít typically my style, but this one isnít too bad.

Pours a thick amber with a nose of honey, golden wheat, wet hops, and autumn perfume. Flavor is retarded peach, winy raisin, and bread. Average mouthfeel. Oífunky stuff.
