Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a mostly clear copper-amber color with a medium light beige head. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is fruity malt with a touch of hops. Medium, smooth body with flavors of earthy malt and light fruity undertones. Slight hops presence as well. The finish is short and malty with a lightly bitter hops aftertaste. Just average.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has sweet grains and bread with a touch of grassiness. Flavor has a good amount of sweet grains and bread with a touch of grass.

Tap at brewpub. Deep copper red body. A thin light khaki head. A malty caramel apple nose is up front. There is also some nice crusty bread. This tastes sweet with lots of wood. There is also some bread crust and peanuts. Decent.

Deep amber color with significant haze. Frothy, dense off-white head. Light, bitter-sweet malty aroma. Medium malty, nutty flavor. Very well balanced. Good red ale and I usually don’t like these but this one finishes with a nice little dose of hops. The cascade is very nice in this beer. it covers the glass completely 100% in a white blanket.
