Draught @ Brewpub: This one poured a hazy, dark amber color. There was a good sized frothy off-white head on it. It left lots of lacing. The nose is a bit mild. Some sweet caramel notes as well as a touch of floral hops. The taste is OK. Caramel malt with just a bit of sweetness. Maybe a touch of roastiness in the background. Barely dry finish. Nothing special, but very easy to drink.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a copper color with an off-white head. The flavor was sweet caramel malts with a crispy bitter finish. The aroma was also caramel and malty. A decent Irish Red Ale.
