COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium-bodied ale that has been hopped more to the extreme. This beer has a copper hue and a noticeable floral aroma. Our I.P.A. is brewed in the tradition of 18th century English-style pale ales. Traditionally, these ales were brewed with extra hops, (a natural preservative) to allow the beer to endure its long journey from England to India, around the Cape of Good Hope.

On tap at brewpub. Comes a slightly cloudy amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, and caramel. Taste is similar. Nice balance. Decent mild IPA.

Tap @ brewpub. Gorgeous, glowing orange appearance with an off white head. Pretty mild, earthy, citrusy hoppy nose. Slightly caramel, mildly citrusy, earthy hoppy flavor. Earthy hoppy aftertaste. Well balanced, mild IPA.

Hazy dark yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet caramel citrus and faint hops aroma. Very slight bitterness with malty caramel tastes dominating and a sugar sweet finish.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured an amber color. The aroma was malt, vinegar and hops. The flavor had light touches of grapefruit and hops. I thought this was their best brew.

On tap at brewpub. Pours clear copper with white head. Aroma of caramel malt and hops, flavors of hop bitterness and caramel malts with light citrus mixed in. Light to medium hop bitterness for an IPA. Average IPA at best.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a uncarbonated transparent dark orange colored body. The aroma was malty and mild hop. The thin crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

-Source : at the brewery
-Appearance : Light
-Aroma : Very light for an IPA
-Flavor : Good flavor on this lighter IPA, nicely balanced
-Overall : A tad too sweet for my style but I did enjoy this IPA. The Brewery had a cast system that they told me they only use on special occasions. In my book if you have a cast system, USE IT, this IPA would be great on cast.

Draft at 75th Street Brewpub. Pours a copper amber body with a white head. Pine, grapefruit, grass. Earth y and herbal, floral a bit green on the hop character. Lightly spicy with some herbal bitterness.

Tap @ 75th Street. Hazy orange color, rocky white head. This beer looks and screams awesome. Smells of the English-style IPAs. Bready, malty aroma. Nice lacing. Flavor is a nice bready malt character. Then the hop kicks in behind the malt backbone. Earthy, hint of citrus hops. A very nice IPA.
My 150th IPA rating.
