Tap at brewpub.
Pours an average amber with a nose of light pumpkin bread. Flavor is watery pumpkin and nutmeg. Average mouthfeel. Too watery; make it more assertive and it’ll be fantastic.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy pale yellow-gold color with a thin and bubbly white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Light pumpkin and nutmeg in the nose. Light body with flavors of mild pumpkin spices and biscuity malt. The finish is cinnamon and nutmeg with a short pumpkin aftertaste. Average overall.

Draft at 75th Street Brewpub, under the name pumpkin Wheat. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Pumpkin pie, wheat spicy cinnamon notes. Incense, spicy pumpkin powder. A thin lemon note. Nice brew.

Gregis (1255) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Pint at the brewpub. Pours a pale, hazy straw with a thin, creamy head; sheeting lace and tons of fine dark orange sediment. The nose is of allspice and faint pumpkin (or subliminal pumpkin behind the pie spices) with a light wheat note in the background. The palate is thin, grainy and aqueous with a moderately spicy finish. The flavor starts OK when it’s really cold, but it drops off considerably as it warms. It pretty much tastes like their Cowtown Wheat with pumpkin pie spices added to it. Meh.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2008 Update - the 2008 version of this beer appears to be based on a wheat beer, and it was far worse.

16 oz. draft at the Brew Pub. Pour is a cloudy orange red with a 1/2 inch off white head. Aroma of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin. Initial taste has sort of a weird chemical taste to it, though this faded pretty quickly as it warmed. All the traditional pumpkin pie flavors are in here, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and even a bit of sweetness resembling the whipped cream! Altogether, a decent pumpkin beer.
