KCKajr (15), Kansas City, Kansas, USA Mar 31, 2004 It's hard to look manly ordering anything with the word raspberry in it, but I don't let that stop me. One of the best fruit beers I have tried. The raspberry is highly evident. Nice and tasty. Curiously high amount of carbonation. I really enjoyed this. Beloved Beer (277), Oceanside, California, USA Jun 18, 2002 Quite fruity. A bit simplistic for a wheat. Lacking in body. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jun 12, 2005 Presents the same color as the regular wheat, like a light hazy straw. This has a moldy berry nose, but the mellow sweetness and nice little bitter bite that follows to counter it makes me give it a good rate. KAggie97 (2023), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Sep 23, 2006 Tap at brew pub. Pours golden, translucent yellow. Nice lacing. Aroma is medium-strong raspberry. Flavor was light, crisp raspberry. A bit watery on the palate but the raspberry lingers. Pleasantly light and fruity. seamus77 (31), kansas city, Missouri, USA Jun 27, 2006 a bit shy about trying this one, fearing a sickly sweet jolly rancher college girl oriented beer (like say new glarus belgian red) , i was pleasantly surprised to find a drier raspberry fruitiness which complements this light bodied soft-wheat beer. reminds me of a lighter version of la choulette framboise. a nice variation of the cow town wheat.
