Pours a murky copper-golden with a pale white head. Alcohol heat on the nose. Hint of brown sugar. Thick mouth feel for the style. A little carbonation and heat at the finish. Feels nice. Sweet hard candy, a subdued hoppiness, and alcohol flavors.

4oz draft @ 7venth Sun.

Draft. Best beer I’ve had from this brewery by far. That’s not saying a lot though. Great taste. I’m not typically a huge fan of double ipas but this one hit the spot. I even ordered a second. Amber pour. Standard aroma.

Growler thanks to Keith. Nose is super tropical and orange/grapefruit like. Light lemon. Some tangerine. Very inviting hazy deep orange color with a medium white head great lacing. Taste is initially bitter followed by a firm but supportive and not too sweet malt backbone. Hop flavor is aggressive and all orange in flavor. Very good. A tad warm in the finish from alcohol. Nice.

Swing-top growler. Clear copper with a creamy bone head. Nose is sweaty mango, papaya, light pine and toffee. Super resiny hop smoothie with fluffy carb and a tang. Taste is bitter and herbal; grapefruit, pine and dandelion greens. Finishing with black pepper.

Sample at the tap room. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap at brewery. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is hops, danky, grassy, some citrus too. Taste is light, dank, a bit lingering. Get tangerine in the aftertaste, yummy and unexpected. Good drinker.

Tampa. Fl - on tap at Datz Restaurant ( awesome place!). Hazy medium orange pour, creamy white head, sticky lacing. Nice hoppy spruce-like aroma, some floral notes with a spicy chamomile bent to it. Flavor is solid and full-bodied with some decent bittersweet citrus grapefruit note, some chamomile like spicy-sweet notes, a touch of yeast. nice rich mouthfeel. Solid entrant from this up and coming brewer,

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2014 Pours orange/gold with a floral and hoppy scent. Taste sweet with light hops. Light, dry finish. It’s decent. Definitely a tweener if you can’t decide on something hoppy or sweet/floral.

On draft at 7venth. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a white head. Nose is some sweet caramel with huge big citrus, some apricot, peach, and stone fruit. Wonderfully bitter citrus. Delightfully off-balance toward the hoppy side with the malt presence reminding me it’s still there. Flavor does not disappoint: caramel backbone behind the tremendous citrus hop assault. If it wasn’t for the alcohol presence, this one would be drinkable by the gallon.
