Bottleshare thanks to DexterFace. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head. Nose of funk, citrus, hay. Taste is rather smooth and malty. With hints of lemon. Overall solid and not very sour.

Batch 2. Pours a clear, golden yellow color. Funky brett, tart, citrusy character in the nose. Citrusy, brett character, some alcohol notes.

murky straw, wispy white head with island and large bubbles. Nose is heavy brett c, tangerine and stable. Stinging playdoh flavor, palate too full. it’s cloying, slick and biting with paper and rubber hints, brett dominating until offensive.

This one poured a hazy straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of light funk, hay, and lots of brett. Flavor was very brett forward, dust and must with light spice and yeast in the finish. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a golden yellow. Minimal white head. Aroma is Brett funk, farmyard, yummy. Taste is smooth, tart, little funk, surprisingly clean finish. Funk doesn’t stick around. Really awesome beer.

A - pours clear effervescent honey yellow with 1 finger beaded bubbles head. Sticky lacing. S - aromas of lemongrass, wet musty oak, citrus zest, vanilla cream cheese frosting, dough and yeast. Buttery, sweet and warm. This smells and tastes like the few other light beers (saison, dubbel, etc) aged in whiskey that I've had, they all have the same tilt. M - rich and smooth, lightly tart, sweet, alcohol heat, and dry. Lots of things going on. T - bretty, grassy, lemon zest, buttery, sugary, doughy, lemongrassy. Astringent end. O - this is almost really good, but not. The whiskey seems in conflict with what would be a great bretty saison. Empty barrel? What do I know.... 3.8

This was a bright brew, with lots of lemongrass, sourdough bread, hops and tart-funk in the mix. Amazing that the alcohol is so high, because I would have seriously guessed 5% or under. I don’t get to try 7venth Sun brews that often, but after each one I become a bigger fan. Thanks for the share OmegaX.
