Bottle… Cloudy yellow ale with an orange glimmer and a small, fizzy, short-lived, white head. The aroma is very fruity, moderately oaken and lightly funky. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor offers an odd marriage of toffee, bretty funky and citric dryness. As awkward as that may sound; it works. Finishes coarse and dry.

Bottle shared by Kan. Pours a hazy peach with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of Brett funk with some backing light fruit and a hint of whiskey. Flavor starts with light fruit and has a lot of bretty funk with a nice dry apple finish.

pantanap (3350) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 750ml bottle with much thanks to you know who... Cork opens with a pop and yields a mostly transparent peachy apricot hued elixir. A frothy yet soapy white head that dissipates to a wispy film... Soft Brett and light barnyard notes to coincide with a pineapple funk. Sweet an phenolic with a pale dried fruit presence... Flavors follow suit nicely with the aforementioned notes with a soft vanilla barrel component that meshes well with some mild brett which then interplays. Soft earthy with a fluffy mouthfeel. A light warmth towards the finish after working through a glass worth. Enjoyable and would gladly have again.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma has a big Brett brux character, cherry pits, horsey, hay. Flavors have vanilla, coconut, horsey Brett, cherries, and melon. Good clean finish. Really tasty and easy drinking.

markwise (4424) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2012
Bottle shared by SwellBrewer. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is vanilla, wood, slight prickly brett, some light fruit, and hints of citrus along with some light malt. Flavor is similar with all manners and layers of flavor both from the saison side, the brett side, and the barrel side. Interesting, hydra-headed beer.
