7thenth Sun Donut. Porter is a top shelf porter. Not much aroma. Pours dark with a tan head. Initial taste is a glazed donut followed by chocolate notes. Finish is dry. Donut Porter is a well done specimen of the style.

Draft at 7venth sun, poured a dark black color with aromas of roast, doughnuts, and a touch of chocolate. Flavoes are the same, lots of roast and doughnuts, great morning beer!

Finally had this! Pours black. Nose is sweet, earthy and roasty. Flavor is goof amounts of roast, sweet and earth mixed with a donutty backend. Neato!

12oz bottle from a recent trade.... pours a dark cola porterish hued consistencey, less intese and paler at the edges, and topped with a thin wispy powder white collar... aroma is light roast, cocoa and milk chocolate, and a sweeter maple sensibility on the backend... flavors follow suit with cocoa, roast, and spent grains. can get a bit of that donut essence but the porter with its roasty edges play the dominant role here. sweet through the midde and beyond with a touch of roasty bitterness on the backend. shy of medium body profile with a carbonation on the lighter side.
