3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft on tap at 7venth Sun Hangover Day (Dunedin, FL). Pours a nice darker blackish hue, a bit dark and ominous, blacker thick hues, gentle darkness, mellow brownish edges. Frothy head dies to a film. Aromas are glazed donuts, toffee, cocoa, and roast. Caramel, biscuits, and some vanilla. Coffee, cocoa, and mellow sweetness grows. Initial is medium to bigger end of the fold. Sweetness, nutty, donuts and biscuits. Toffee, caramel and some toast. Thicker glazed donut middle, sweetness with some sugary icing, caramel, and some cocoa, dryness. Backend is dry, a bit more toasty, some coffee, gentle roasty qualities. Finish is sweeter, a touch sticky and biscuity, gentle carmelized elements. I think this was a fun, Maple a bit more interesting, but this probably the better beer.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a rich dark brown with a paperthin head. Aroma of cake donuts, reminds me of the good old school donuts not Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. Taste follows, wow this is like drinking a chewy chocolate donut. Chewy yet smooth. Very nice
