growler... outstanding berliner that gives you bit of kiwi, cherry and coconut almost equally... really like the kiwi notes on the front, almost like biting into a kiwi, great a cherry finish that is sweet but tart, coconut adds subtle vanilla balance... must try

Pours a pale gold with a paperthin head. Aroma of wheat, cherries and some coconut at the end. Taste follows, it’s really interesting how well the different flavors come together on this one. Nice and tart, so refreshing.

Quart fliptop courtesy of fishingnet. Amazing box from Ben. Cheers! Pours a hazy dulled straw hue, touches of glow and haze. A frothy brighter white head dies to a good ring, laces ok overall. Aromas are kiwi and cherry off the bat, lactic acid and lemons. Touches of coconut increase as it warms, shaved with touches of bready malts, more fruit. Cherry and coconut offer some potency. A lot going on. Initial is lighter bodied, dry bread and wheaty malts, straw. Gentle kisses of kiwi and lemons hit with some mellow sourness. Touches of cherry and coconut come into focus into the backend and linger on the palate, maraschino and coconut, straw, dry bread. Mellow berliner, a bit light on intensity, mellow sourness. Lingering lactic acid and yogurty presence. Coconut and cherry, kiwi. Lemons. lingering fruit. Dryness, bready malts, lactic qualities linger into the backend and kinda lose some of the fruity forward nature. Ok. A bit underbodied and lacks a sour kick I was hoping for.

Pour out of bottle, thanks Paul! Hazy yellowish orange pour with a thin white head, aroma has big fruit notes, big kiwi, tropical fruit, cherry, vanilla, slight tart fruit with a hint of coconut. Wow, this is messed up. Taste is really sweet kiwi, tart fruit, lemon, hints of passionfruit, touch of coconut comes in the end but mainly sweet fruits, slightly tart and a sweet coconut at the end. Odd, and a bit like fruit juice...but fairly authentic.

Bottle @ Armin’s. Thanks- I think.... Hazy, light yellow appearance with a small white head. Lemon citrusy, grassy, coconut, weird aroma. Tangy cherry, sweet coconut, a bit tart citrusy, hay flavor. Wtf.

Draft… CCB Hunahpu’s Day 2012… Pours clear and yellow with a small, delicate, white head. The nose offers up big coconut and cherry, but no trace of Kiwi. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. The only thing that saves this otherwise bland and far-too-lightly-acidic Berliner Weisse-based beer is the coconut and hint of cherry in the flavor. Finishes crisp, lightly fruity and very clean. Straight up front; this brewery needs to kick up the acidity in its Berliner Weisse and Berliner Weisse-based fruit beers. Promising outfit, but beer geeks like f-l-a-v-o-r! Of course, beer geeks might not be the demographic that gets the bills paid. So, there’s also that.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2012. Pours a cloudy yellow with small frothy white head. The aroma is sour cherry and tart. Thin mouthfeel with a sour fruit flavor and nice crisp finish. Easy to drink and refreshing a very good fruit beer from 7venth Sun.
