2/20/15. Bottle sampled during RBWG 2015. Black pour with a nice tan head, good lacing. Awesome aroma - right up my alley for a BA dark beer - fudgey, coconut, vanilla, oak, etc. Yum. Good but disappointing flavor, roasted malts and a meaty aspect take over, more whiskey and wood coming through. Great aroma, otherwise not bad.

Bottle shared during RBWG on the Booze Bus. Thanks 7venth Sun Crew! Brown pour with a small head. Rich milk chocolate. A bit of salted caramels and toasted bread. Taste of coconut and toasted grain. Some oily coconut. Dark chocolate. Nice and rich, earthy. Umami character. Full body, oily. Good.

Bottle during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15 big thanks to the guys at the brewery for this juan. Black with moderate beige spotting and edgeing. Nose is rich roast, bourbonics, spice, light chocolate notes, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises rich roast, dates, raisens, spice, chocolate, bourbon evident but well integrated, light charr. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light warming alcohol. Excellent BA impy, masks the ABV well, great balance.

Bottle @ home. Thanks, Jake. Very dark brown pour with a thin khaki head. Lots of graham cracker, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Nice roasted malts, slight bourbon, and a bunch of dark fruits. Tastes a little on the sweet side, but good chocolate and vanilla. Mild roast, some booze, and graham cracker. Nice black cherry, raisin, and oak.

Ticked on the bus during the rbwg2015 brewery bus tour. White waxed bottle pours with a murky mahogany colored body that supports a tiny tan head. The aroma offers up sweet nectar like currants, some chocolate and dark roasted malts and then faint oak and vanilla. The taste starts smooth and rich with molasses sweetened dark roasted malts, chocolate malts and then nectar sweet malts and sweet red cranberry going to midway. It stays chocolate and booze into the finish. It leaves a warming sensation behind with an after thought of vanilla. Love it.
