Rating # 3200. Bottle generously shared by swellbrewer. Cheers, Justin! Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. Nose is big oak, raisins, dates, brown sugar, and vanilla. Flavor is huge oak, vanilla, date sugar, raisins, and more wood. Medium in body and lingering oak and raisin in the finish. The oak mellows more and more as the beer warms, and a LOT more of the nuances emerge. Solid effort.

Pours a dark amber, maybe brown, color with a tan head. A bit of roasted malt and charred wood up front followed by a nice touch of vanilla and chocolate. Some dark fruits, molasses, and banana in there as well. The flavor has a strong fruit character, particularly raisins, bananas, and plums. Definitely a strong wood note which lends a nice bit of vanilla. Some chocolate, toffee, and caramel sweetness are also present.

Bottle at home courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Poured a deep brown with a frothy tan head and decent lacing. Hairspray, tropical fruits, spice, and light spice in the aroma. Taste is dark fruits, spice, anise, and wood. Medium body with soft carbonation. Somewhat abrasive and not very tasty and heavy DMS, I think this one is infected.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2012 Pour out of waxed bottle, thanks to Aaron for the pour, hazy orange red pour with off whtie head, aroma has notes of dms, some biscuit, bread, hints of vegetal and dms notes, slight cocoa. Taste is big dms, vinegar, some slight caramel, hints of more vegetal notes, finishing fairly sweet and infected. Too bad.

On draft at 7venth Sun for 6 month anniversary, poured a dark brown color, aromas of chocolate, light vanilla, and heavy oak. Flavors are the same, oak not as strong as aromas suggest, nice treatment of the Temerity base beer.
